Looks like we have a future sniper coming up. Sorry but I couldn't get the downloaded pic to rotate but it did when yo click on it. Computers,,,grrrr.

Another very long range shot by another young man. Wow! Looks like the gun is properly set up for serious long range shooting! Kudos.

It helps that he can hunt on his family's farm and not have the pressures of hunting clubs and have the guidance of his father who just happens to be a successful 1K yd shooter.

Great shot at a quarter mile or so!
For the encore, he should hang out in those woods and get the next one at just feet away!
It will be just as exciting- maybe more.
    Hunt on, young man.

Excellent. Having more "back story" helps us all understand things.

Pretty awesome that his forefathers had the foresight to keep some land in his family!!!! And even better that his own father is passing his hard earned knowledge along!!!

His dad just sent me another text. He killed a spike this morning! This boy doesn't take prisoners! Fortunate to live in a state where he can shoot 3 bucks and I believe he will make that easily.

Murf205 : Do you know the caliber of the rifle or rifles? How about the grain of bullet? Just curious. I know someone whose 11yr old shot an elk cow at 620yds, but if was after ranging and then getting a solution off Dad's phone app and either, setting the scope, or telling him what reticle to use. This was with a 300 Win mag. Both boys seem to mastered some trigger control along with breathing. Glad to hear of upcoming hunters.

IIRC, it is a 6.5 Creedmoor (what else?). I believe they sell them at Walgreens now! The bullet weight I don't know but as you can see on the stock, there is a piece of paper which I am thinking is a cheat sheet for his dad in PRC competition. His dad has a Browning bolt gun in 243 that is a less than moa shooter with 100 grs and I imagine when he gets a little bigger, he will wind up with that.
