    38 Ballard Ex. Long

Working on a very old Stevens tip up chambered in 38 Ballard extra long. Cartridge conversions states to use 357 Max cartridges as is and fire form. This appears to work however the rim is quite a bit smaller than it should be. Wondering if any other cartridge would fit these dimensions. Also, might anyone have a handful of 357 max cases I could purchase? Thanks, Dan

Danth I think the Max is where you are at with that.
I'll send you a couple dozen 357 Max cases. Just let me know your address and I'll get them to you.
