Why even call it a Marlin? But I have been waiting a long time.

Wake me up when they introduce the take-down version of the old CST. Until then,...(yawn)

In the meantime, I'm searching for one of these from Chiappa (also sold under Taylor's).

I suspect it has a lot to do with the money they paid for the name and design.

Go here to Midway and get your name on the list my friend.

There are a few available on Guns International. The only stainless one is in 44 mag unfortunately. Best of luck.

Cool. I like that it's traditionally styled. I do not care for the front of the forearm / transition of the barrel band area aesthetically.

Have you touched one? I know that being here and seeing one is 2 different things. More than likely, I'd be a $1000 poorer if I saw one.

Yay! Ruglin seems to be picking up the pace on getting the new models out. Maybe in a year or two I'll have the stainless, railed, threaded .357 I'm waiting for.

Homemade soap boys. Still the same boring line up. Get rid of the barrel bands and the silly front sight. I'll wait till then.

If I didn't already have my JM .357 I would be in the line to buy one.

Love my Remlin '94 357. I got a rare good one. Looks just like the Ruglin. Very handy, shoots great, have killed deer with it. Mostly I've killed cans and ant hills

Henry makes one in 41, not easy to find, but worth looking for one as I would not bet Marlin puts one out.

You may have a long wait.

I like the .41, never owned one but a friend was a big .41 devotee.
The other one I’d love that we may see since they still catalog it in the revolvers is the .327 mag. Again, that may be a long wait. I’d prefer a .32 H&R for what I like but I’d take what I could get.

OR. that truck in your profile looks familiar to one I saw on my way to shoot at the Lowville F&G club a bunch of years ago!

Externally the fit/finish look just as good as the one I bought (used) back in the 80s.

"Get rid of the barrel bands and the silly front sight. I'll wait till then." I think the lack of a barrel band is what makes the Glenfield 30-30's shoot so accurate. Kinda' like free floating the barrel, how ever the accuracy reports of the 44 Ruglins are good.
