    Ken Williams model 100 touch up

    Refinished the stock with minwax antique oil and cerakote midnight blue the metal.
    If I come across the before photos I'll post them , good chance they're just gone .

    I had a lot of information about the Sears Family of Winchester Built Lever Actions,
    unfortunately after a Hard Drive Crash it's all lost.

    I got asked about the process in a message and figured id answer here incase anyone else would like to know.
    This gun was in rough shape so i had to go after it with 120 sandpaper , in most cases you can start with a soak in acetone then blast with aluminum oxide . Next it needs to bake for an hr at 300. I used cerekote h series midnight blue , 2 light coats with my harbor freight 4oz detail gun. Back into the oven at 250 for 2 hrs .
    The cerekote website has excellent instructions

    I find myself writing a quick paper on this rifle. if you've any easy resources you could point me in the direction of id read them . Thanks to this thread my likelihood of calling it the right name has increased
