    Something To Do With Casting?

I have had these for a while now. They came to me from a yard sale, along with a great little pot that holds about 25 lbs of lead. Because they came with the pot I have wondered if they're related to casting. There is a small hammer made of a soft metal, seems about like hard lead. It has a brass handle. There are the two rings you see that appear to be brass. And three little ingots of something, I have refrained from melting them, have had a lot of other projects. Does anyone recognize these?

I wonder if it is a homemade tool for correcting dents in Auto body.

As can be seen in the middle picture, the hammer is round on one face and flattened on the other. The handle has a lot of marks on it from I don't know what. One of my ideas is maybe the five metal pieces and the pot are used for making a hammer just like this one. In that case the only thing I didn't get with the set was the molds

I figure the the hammer is flat on the end to set it down handle up in case you need to grab it. Flat on the face so it doesn't roll away if knocked over.
