I was recently given a package of TC sabots that are 50 cal reduced to .452". Up until now I have used Lee Real and 50 cal round balls in my CVA Buckhorn Magnum, without having any success in terms of accuracy. Also, the Real 50 cal is a real shoulder bruiser. I presently own a Lyman 200 gr semi-wadcutter mold that is perfect in my 45 ACP pistol. Is there any disadvantage in using this mold cast with WW and dressed in sabot? Also what is a good starting load using Pyrodex RS? Thanks.
