    WTB 410 reloading dies

Trying my hand at reloading some 410 shells for a single shot H&R I purchased.
Looking for dies either a CH4D set or lee hand loader or other hand loader. Maybe wads n cards too ?

Can’t afford a Mec, just hand tools ( probably can’t afford the lee loader either) but I’ll try and see what comes up.
I do have lee hand loaders in old black and red boxs in various calibers that I could trade. PM me for details.

    Thank you all, Mike

I reload 410s just using a Lee Decapper die to deprime, then hand prime, hand charge, and hand fill with shot and just use a wad of tissue or foam to keep the shot in. This fine for single shot guns as you don’t need to worry about having them properly crimped since they are being fed singly.

Check out the YouTube videos on DIY 410 reloading. Also a roll crimper from BPI might interest you.

This is about the only thing that I've seen recently. https://www.thexringusa.com/product-...der-for-410-ga

Possible to find Lee at an auction or such but seem to be few and far between.

    Good luck!

I just bought a set of 2.5 & 3" brass 410 dies from C&H Tool and Die Co although the production run is not scheduled until March/April for $115. Without shipping. You won't find cheaper these days unless you can find a used MEC 650 on Craigslist, Ebay or other auction sites.

Thank you Greg and 36 and all the other reply’s.
I have several old Lee hand loaders in the red n black cardboard and maybe stumble into a trade, but in the mean time between home made tools and other suggestions I think for the amount I’ll be shooting I’m covered.

Happy Thanksgivings all and be safe,

    Mike
