    68 Chevy C20 4WD

I am getting the parts together to redo my 68 C20. The engine code is a 327, 350 4bl. Can I replace original 4spd with a nv4500 5 speed ? I also would like to replace original transfer case with the one from a 2002 suburban 8.1 4wd I have in storage. I also have 74 C1500 350,auto and transfer case in storage. I really would like to gain the extra gear from the 4500. What think ye?

The NV will mate to your small block, but I’m not sure of your choice of transfer case. I’d look up what transfer case came with an NV transmission and start that way

You can do anything you want. It just depends on how much time and money you are willing to spend.
