Nice one. I've seen them before, and they're usually rusty.

It's the 1894 Winchester tool, which full-length resized the shell as it was seating the boolit. Made for the new generation of higher intensity smokeless rounds that were coming out in their 1894 and 1895 rifles.

Cool it had the March 1945 clipping. I wish this old stuff could talk to us.
HOLLYWOOD Collector Left hawg 405#, right one 315#, had my elderly neighbors granddaughter treed and why I got the call. Both charged, one from 20' and one from 40'. Thanks to the good Lord and Samuel Colt I won. May God bless our Lawmen & Soldiers!

Found one that sold on gunbroker. That seller said the “SR” designated “short range” for loading a lighter bullet.

Nice find! I’ve seen many and owned several of those 1894 tools, but few (none?) in 30 Gov, and very few as nice as that one. Now for the bonus question; is the decapping spud included (if so, it’s probably stashed inside). I’ve seen pdf images of the original instructions posted in several places on the Inter-Web.
