How do I remove the magazine spring from my 1936 German luger?
    Thanks for any replies.

    Your google-fu is weak.

This is a good website for some help

driving the pin out is easy - replacing the pin not so much. I fished a piece of twine down through the feed lips to make a sling for putting the spring under compression to make replacement of the plate and pin somewhat easier.
I ended up with a bunch of Luger mags that I didn't need but springs were wrecked, by the fifth or sixth one I almost looked like I knew what I was doing!

I went to Wolff springs first, but they don't tell you how to remove the old ones.

Your link didn't work for me, but I see by your post, I have to remove the small pin from the
base. Thank you for the info.
