    Production Year for Winchester 94?

I read somewhere on the web that one listing for year of production by serial # is messed up - wrong data.

Anyone have a reliable source? My Winchester 94 carries the #1323XXX. Year = ?

    Thanks.

Winchester collectors website offers a free instant search feature that uses the factory records. About as good as it gets.

    Production Year for Winchester 94?

The barrel has a date on the underside of the chamber- but that might not be the rifle’s “built” date.
    But close if not…..

    .

You have a 2nd Model, made during the transition period before/during/after World War II...

( Yes, Virginia - Winchester made some during WWII )
