My SIL, working as General Forman on a tree trimming crew just found out the company he worked for has gone under financially. Paychecks bounced last week. The Utility still needs lines trimmed, whatever contractor who takes over will still need crews, but meanwhile, it's a mess. Financially, he is not desperate, though some of his guys are. Most of them are young, living paycheck to paycheck.
I am praying that God will be glorified in the outcome. your prayers are welcome.

My prayers and best wishes for him, his family, and fellow workers. Perhaps there might be a church group, or County agency, to provide some funds to live off of until the $$$'s get resolved? Then, too, some in similar paradigms set up "Go to?" funds on Social Media. Our younger son resides in your county -- he works in Bath.

Been in that situation myself when the company I was working for went under, unexpectedly. Praying for the employees that had their personal checks bounce, subsequent to their paychecks bouncing. That is a bad deal for the folks that can least afford it.
