If you can, get the Lyman mold made for freedom arms. I've given up on the mold. I've returned 2 2c molds for casting undersized or out of round with foundry cert lyman alloy.

Yea, Lyman molds in general have had there issues and like too many things today declined in quality.

Undersize isnt as big with my as I powdercoat most all I cast today.

Out of round is a non acceptable unfortunate reality...

    Thanks man!

No one else used this bullet??

NOE is making a copy of this mold and have thought about getting a copy but since have picked up A 4C MP 452-325 GC/HP Ruger Only and a 4C 452-340 GC/HP.

I use the Lee 310gr GC in my Ruger Blackhawk, 4 5/8" Bbl . Have used heavy loads ( Ruger Only ) of 2400 with excellent results.. My only deviation is, I installed Hogue soft rubber grips for control because of recoil. Cases fall out & primer pockets stay tight, load after load. Also have an Accurate 45-297G. This drops from my mold at 300grs, plain base.Using the same charge of 2400 as the Lee 310gr, also yields excellent results.
