I'm not that computer savy but this came in between messages with cdet69 about molds for sale, definitely not cdet69's email and 0 posts. Mods please delete if I'm wrong but seems sketchy to me.

100% scam
Collector and shooter of guns and other items that require a tax stamp, Lead and brass scrounger. Never too much brass, lead or components in inventory! Always looking to win beauty contests with my reloads.
This person is no longer with us, thanks to Minerat, a very competent Moderator. Instead of deleting this thread, the problem being solved, I decided to leave it for all to view. It is a classic scammer message. Note that the scammer had -0- posts, and just joined. Be vigilant!

If you get a message that starts "hello mate"..... Hit the triangle in the lower left corner and report it. PLEASE!

the "hello Mate" is a DEAD RINGER AS A SCAM!!! Got one few weeks back when I responded to a WTS.
Received a couple of those in the last year on WTB posts. They were reported to the admins, and were dealt with swiftly.
Sadly this crap is everywhere. I've dropped out of all the local buy/sell/trade pages.

Scams like this have been on several different sites for the last few years and it's always the pattern. I've been contacted by scammers like this before and they always have EXACTLY what you were looking for but you have to email his friend. My reply is if your friend has this item for sale have him email me directly as I don't respond to third party emails.
Thanks for the reports everyone. The reports help us track how they are getting thru and let's us remove them from the membership roll. Another help would be to let us know what ad you replied to do we can determine how they found you.

Seems like it is becoming a "scam world" everywhere you look. Interesting that the bottom feeders spend more time on scamming others instead of what they could actually achieve if they actually worked.
