I've probably have a half-dozen Hodgdon bottles, shipping is going to be the killer, I would think it would take a large flat rate box, doubt if they'll fit a medium.

But I've been wrong before, I'd say ask my M-I-L, but she died 2 years ago, although she probably left a note somewhere that says I'm wrong on EVERYTHING.

Take a walk through WallyWorld pharmacy, some of the vitamins and supplements come in quite similar plastic bottles. You maybe able to find a cheap supplement that you can use for garden fertilizer and keep the bottles.

Or ask the pharmacist if he could save you some of the bulk bottles when they are empty.

Let me know if I need to dig in the attic to see what I have.

Miralax and the generic equivalents come in HDPE bottles that hold about a pound of powder and are shaped for good storage.

What's wrong with steel powder cans? They are flat and might ship easier. I will give you a bunch! Just pay the shipping!

I have at least 6, maybe more, flat style Blackpowder bottles. A buck a bottle plus shipping.

WOW, I've been out of pocket. Didn't think I'd have any replies: 15meter - if they're plastic (hdpe) I'll gladly pay shipping. I'll send you a pm. Thanks to everybody that replied.

The metal IMR cans rust internally over the years. I've tossed more powder from the old IMR cans because of the "dust"

I was WRONG, they will fit in a medium flat rate box, at least 4 Hodgdon and 2 Accurate bottles will fit. My M-I-L is laughing her fanny off. She KNEW it.

Make me an offer I can't refuse.

Just for reference, it's $17+ for medium flat rate box.

    Would $27 work for you?

Sure, less stuff in the attic my daughter will have to deal with and beer money in my pocket that the wife doesn't know about, what's not to like?

Now for the obligatory exchange of important double secret information.

Why ship Flat Rate??? Use a brown box and ship Ground Advantage - a lot cheaper if the product is lightweight

I'm lazy. I had the flat rate box on the bench, it was easy. It's already done. They other guy was happy with it.

    Did I mention I'm lazy?

The shipping cost is what irritates me. Instead of developing a talent or getting an education these whiners are inflating the cost of mailing an item. I’ve got several items I can get rid of but I won’t mail them.

    Rant over.

I've developed a stunning number of talents over the years, mostly centered around having fun, shooting( trap, skeet, sporting clays, rifle, pistol, black powder, airguns, archery) reloading, motorcycling, bicycling, woodworking, soft water sailing, hard water sailing, rock climbing, luge, skiing, drinking, swapping lies while doing the above mentioned drinking and various other important talents.

I never thought that scrounging a cardboard box of the proper size to ship a half dozen empty plastic bottles was something I needed to aspire to.

Apparently my education has been lacking.

    Rant over.

And perhaps this needs to be moved to humor and off-topic before we get our collective hands slapped
