WTS K31 Swiss Rifle 7.5x55
This rifle has a couple of colored tapes on it showing it was approved for a match. The rifle also has a P in front of the serial number. This either denotes it was a private sale or sold to a soldier when he mustered out of the service. Probably the latter. There is a folded paper with a name, and address and the serial number of the rifle under the butt stock plate. Probably the name of the soldier it was sold to. Also writing (V 3 lines and 360 under the butt plate whatever that means.
The rifle includes a clamp on scope mount. This mount has the rail similar to the rails found on 22 rifles. The 3/8 inch grooved receivers. Scope not included.

There are some import markings on the barrel
This was my Cast Bullet Association military match rifle and it has a couple of thousand cast bullets thru it. I never shot any military or jacketed bullets in it. The load is 16.5 grains of 2400 + or – a few tenths with a RCBS 165 gas checked bullet. It will shoot in the 390’s on the reduced 600 yard military target at 100 (mr 31) and 200 (mr 52) yards. 20 shots at each yardage. https://castbulletassoc.org/uploads/...ne08092014.pdf
I no longer shoot those matches and I am reducing the number of rifles I own.
