    Automated/Powered Swaging Machine

Powered by a 240VAC, single phase motor. Dies currently in place produce 38 HBWCs. A moderately competent machinist could produce the dies and punches for other caliber projectiles. The machine also makes a lube groove in its final step. Lead slugs are tube fed. Production rate about 3000/hr. Shipping would be extremely expensive so local pickup near Kingman, AZ is advisable. Machine needs some degree of care and work to bring it up to full potential.

    Asking $2000

So this does not feed from lead wire, and instead uses pre-formed pellets fed into the tube? Made from lead wire sections? I'm curious from what sort of supply this is fed. Seeing it run is nice, but watching it do actual production as it makes the projectiles would be far more instructive of the process.

It currently is tube fed with cast slugs. I don't have the lead casting machine anymore that was used to make the slugs. I suppose it could be adapted to use lead wire. The meat in this machine is in the swaging process, which it accomplishes very well. Well over a million projectiles were produced commercially. It's a heavy duty machine with a lot of life left in it that's probably relegated to light commercial or hobbyist use compared to the technology available today. Anyone seriously interested can contact me for a demonstration.
