    10mm and CFE Pistol

I haven't loaded for 10mm in a long time, but in the last few years I have discovered CFE pistol. It's very good in all my 9mm and 45acp loads. I just bought a Tisas night stalker that may make my rotation of duty guns, and I haven't seen many people using cfe in the 10. I have a bunch of 180gr coated cast for boolits, and would like to see 1100-1150 fps to duplicate out duty amd training ammo. Thoughts?

I've been doing almost the same thing. I'm a big fan of CFE Pistol. Burn rate is very similar to Unique. I happened into a large quantity of AutoComp awhile back and have found it to be extremely close to CFE Pistol if not the same thing perhaps without the copper reducer (Bismuth?). Based on the AutoComp vs CFE Pistol loads on the Hodgdon reloading site they are usually within one to two tenths of a grain. In .40 and .45 I found my lot of AC about 20fps slower than CFE for the same loads. Take that for what you will, don't assume I have any credibility etc and work up appropriately.

To the point- 6.5gr of AutoComp from a 4.6" M&P 10mm cycles and feeds with the admittedly weak factory recoil spring and nets in the neighborhood of 1000-1025fps with various 180-200gr cast bullets with respectable accuracy. My favorite so far being the NOE 200gr WFN. I've only done some initial trials and will work up further with the goal being your same ~1100fps goal.

I'll try to update when it's cooler than the surface of the sun here in TX.
