ISO Ultra-Hi Miroku .45

In need of Ultra-Hi Miroku .45 cap lock barrel only. Anyone have any idea where I might find one?

What is the problem with your barrel.
Or is the barrel missing ?

Two problems, the barrel has sever pitting and the nipple port has been striped beyond repair.

You might be able to buy an oversized thread nipple from TOW.
The bore can be redone by Bobby Hoyt.
But from what I remember.
Some of those rifles were the same parts as maybe some CVA's.
Post pictures so we can see the damage and we can be clearer about what can be used as a replacement.

A oversized tap from TOW was purchased but wasn't able to cut new threads due to the enlarged hole. I'm afraid the barrel is a wash except for measurements for a replacement. I should have mentioned at the start that I am not the owner but trying to help an elderly muzzleloader enthusiast pass along a kit project he completed years ago.

You might call Bobby Hoyt and see if he has any leads to that models barrels.
Or possibly suggestions to do all the repairs on the one you have.

I did Google the name Ultra Hi Miroku.
There are several sites that have parts like a .45 cal. Barrel for $140.00

I've googled for months and that site (if it's the same one) advertises the barrel but if you try to buy, it's out of stock. Thanks for looking though.

ostrick; I had a problem ML once with unacceptable corrosion at the breach. I ended up cutting the breach away and installing a new breach plug on the end of the shortened barrel. Thimbles had to be moved to accommodate the new length and a whole new drum & nipple assembly installed in the side of the barrel. Turned the $25 junker into a fine shooter and by happy happenstance, I took the biggest whitetail buck of my life that year. .50 cal RB ~ shortened barrel ~ wonderfully accurate.
