    Lee 90321

I was gifted a 2-gang mold from a friend, who owns no 38s of any size. It has a lot of very small lube grooves and is 158 grain SWC. To this point I have only tumble lubed my hand cast bullets and am wondering if tumble lubing work with the small grooves this mold will produce?

The Lee mold number you gave, 90321, identifies in the catalog as the
TL358-158-SWC in two cavity. TL means it is made to be tumble lubed.

Tumble lubing will work with any style of lube grooves, as long as you have the correct fit.

The TL358-158-SWC was designed for Tumble Lube (TL)
Lee's idea was to cast this boolet , tumble lube it in Lee Liquid Alox , let them dry and then load them ... no sizing required ... no lube/sizer machine required .
A lot of people get these boolets to work , with no sizing and they might work just fine in your gun . Give them a try ...
If the Lee Liquid Alox is thick , thin it with mineral spirits , thin coat will dry , thick coats never dry . Also look at 45-45-10 Liquid Lube recipe ...dries more better .
