Stamped, "Dudly Tool Co." Menominee, Mich. Pat. 29,94. These are the only markings I see on the tool. I was left a bunch of old loading items.This was in the box. Anyone know ????

From the patent dates, it may have been for the old style big wheel bicycles. Not sure what they were called, the new style "Safety Bicycle" is what we think of today, i.e. two wheels of the same size. At least as far as I know.

The fixed dimension spoke nipple wrench doesn't always fit snug and can round them and then you have to remove and break down the wheel and remove the rounded nipple and hopefully you haven't griped the nipple too tight and messed the spoke threads. I got 1 bike with 11 gauge spokes but the 11 gauge spoke wrench is a no go and 10 is a little loose. The adjustable version does away with that and you get a better feel for the torque your applying to the thread and not the wrench slipping on the nipple from a sloppy fit.
