Thread: What Die for a Good Roll Crimp on 38/357 Magnum Brass?

    The normal seating die will apply a roll crimp.
    The FCD die applies a factory style “banded” crimp with its split collet crimper.
    I have a couple of FCD dies but none of my guns need that kind of crimp to work.

    Why bend up the case?
    Just cut a wad and glue it in.
