I was loading up some 223 remington and wishing I had a smaller box to store the loaded rounds in. I saw an Irish Spring soap, humm they just might fit. Depending on your O.A.L. the might be a bit long but mine fit just about perfect got a little bit of play. I have no idea of any danger of long tern storage but it works for now.
LOL, I think it's great that you converted a soap box to a ammo box. Now to find an old ballot box as well.
