Derringer Fest!
Cool trio of black powder derringers that I was planning to make a shadow box with but can’t ever seem to find the time. All locks function as they should but I have not fired any of them. 18+ and please know your local restrictions, if any, before purchase. Payment: USPS Money Order. Buy more than one and save on shipping! Post "I'll take it" and send a PM.
1. Antique Belgian mid-1800s center-hammer derringer in good condition. 3 ½” barrel in approximately 40 caliber. No marking other than the standard Belgian liege mark and an “R”. Has a little bit of engraving on the sides and a rib texture on the barrel. Typical painted wooden grip with some peeling and shrinking. Lock action functions as it should with original nipple. A nice display piece. $125 includes shipping in small flat rate USPS box. Payment: USPS money Order.
2. Modern reproduction derringer with shiny silvery engraved accents and trigger guard. Stamped EIG DERRINGER SPAIN on the 3 ½” octagon barrel. Does not appear to have been used very much. Approximately 40 caliber (not marked). Does not have a ramrod or thimbles to fit one. Wood in good condition with aged patina. Lock action functions as it should. A nice example of a classic design. SOLD
3. Modern reproduction derringer. Very small size overall with a 2 ¼” barrel. Spain stamped on the barrel and also has a serial number and what looks like 12 m/m stamped on the opposite side. I assume that’s the caliber. Seems to be about 40 caliber to me. This has a little metal ramrod under the barrel and the nipple appears to have a washer under it to raise it up. Wood is in good condition with minor signs of wear. A handsome diminutive, little derringer. $110 includes shipping in small flat rate USPS box. Payment: USPS money Order.
