    .360 cast down to .355?

I'm just curious - have no plans or need to do it. But for example would sizing the MP 360640 (130gr) plain base bullet down to .355 for 9mm loads be acceptable in the long run.

I wouldn't take them down to .355. All my nines work best with .357, but answer your question, If you are powder coating and have a strong press it would be easy to do. I put a .358 pc'd bullet through a .312 die the other day by accident and the thing got longer but was otherwise fine.

acceptable, as for sizing purposes, YES.
acceptable for your 9mm gun, probably not.

That bullet looks very similar to 357125MP that I use in 9mm and 38 special. Experiment with 357 and 358 sizing to find what your 9mm likes best.

Like I mentioned...don't plan on sizing my 360-640L down to 9MM, don't own a 9mm, but as you noted that MP 357-125 looks like a copy of the 360-640. Was just curious.

I just reamed a Lee 44 mag mold that was dropping .429 to .436 and bought a .432 sizer and beveled the top to keep from shaving lead. Works fine --My throats were .432 and improve the grouping a lot. My Lyman cast book shows .358 for 9mm.
