    Inletting Guide Screws Remington 700

    Need a set so I can inlet a new stock. Vendors are all Backordered and Forster has unknown delay in making sets. Anyone got a set sitting around?

    (edit) nope...don't have a lathe. Wish I did though...

    If you have a lathe, you can make your own in less than an hour.

    A couple of long 1/4x28 bolts at your local hardware store. Cut off the heads, round off the cut ends and voila!, guide screws.

    I think that he is looking for the ones that are “T” shaped so that they can be tightened by hand.

    Those would be stock makers hand screws. Inletting guide screws are headless 1/4-28 bolts for the Remington 700.

    If he were to search stock maker hand screws, there should be multiple options. CH4D has some for sale, dont know if backorderednor not.

    I couldn’t remember the name, I found a few listings on Google.
    Inletting guide screws are long headless screws are listed also.
