    A female worker cleans the locking lugs for the breachblock
    of a 15 inch gun after being lifted inside the barrel in the Coventry Ordnance Works during the First World War.

    this is from Wiki......Weight of shell: 1,920 lbs (4 AP crh shell), 1,938 lbs (6 crh AP shell – 1937). Weight of charge: 428 lbs cordite, 490 lbs cordite for supercharge.[
