    Post Update 2-13-23

On Wednesday 2-8-23 my wife's mother checked her out of the hospital she was in, took her deeper into Houston, and checked her into a different hospital. This was all done with my wife's eager permission. I have gotten to speak with her once over the telephone. She is in isolation, again, and can have 1 visitor per day period. No phone in the room, no electronics, and cell phones are blocked from calling in and out. I don't know how they managed to let me speak with her the one time I was able to do so. That's the information I have. The sum total. When I call the hospital I am told I wasn't the one who checked her in so I get no information. When I call my mother-in-law she tells me about the clothes she bought my wife, and what my wife had to eat. No other information.

On me. Dr looked at the chest issue again. He thinks it is either another deep infection, or (more likely) inflammation of the scar tissue from the previous cutting. Friday he gave me a prescription for an antibiotic that is a sulfa drug. My whole family has near fatal reactions to sulfa drugs. He told me not to take it until today, Monday the 13th, in case I have the typical family reaction so that the local ER is fully staffed. My other option is to go to a major city, to a recommended surgeon, and to have the left chest and scar tissue surgically removed.

I wish I had information on my wife. I can't describe how much I miss her, but if this saves her life then so be it.

    God Bless.

    Richard
Yes I can be long winded. Yes I follow rabbit trails. Yes I admit when I am wrong. Your mileage may vary.

Richard, this is a tough one, but God's grace and mercy will overcome all. Prayers continue.
Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty.
