WTB: .45 G.A.P. Once Fired Brass

I'm looking for once fired .45 G.A.P. brass: ......Dirty range pick-ups would be fine!

(....I'm looking for the regular stuff made out of regular cartridge brass, ....not the stuff made out of platinum that is currently being sold on Gunbroker.)

can.45 acp cases be trimmed to shorter length ?

I looked into that, but between the slightly rebated rim, and the differences in internal tapers, cutting down .45 ACP began to look like a lot of work.

Also, if I was going to try that, I'd have to go hunting for .45 ACP cases with the small primer pocket, ....because I am sure that substituting a Large Pistol Primer would invalidate the published .45 G.A.P. load data, and would require a careful load work-up.

internal + external dimensions might be a problem, but not primers - LP + SP have them same brisance, only the magnums vary -
