I would like to know the threaded size for the handle on a Pacific press? My son was given one and it needes a handle so he can use it. Any help would be great. Thanks - Jerry

Just guessing but something coarse like 1/2 x 13. My old pacific/bair/hornady have handles with a step and have exposed threads with a nut. There are no threads in the press where the handle goes through.
1/2 National Fine i.e. 1/2 X 20. This is for real. I have made a couple and just measured one to make certain.
The early Pre-War Cs had press fit handles but where changed to screw in shortly before WWII. I have also made a press fit handle and that was a fun project. 1/2 X 20 is not an uncommon size for reloading press handles, so other makes will fit. I disremember which ones.
