Springfield trapdoor door serial numper search

Is anyone able to tell me anything about my trapdoors? They have been in the family for 70+ years and I would greatly appreciate some insight about them!

    Carbine 1884 sn 331486
    Rifle 1873 sn 261358
Rife 1884 sn 129411 (this rifle may have been made using and old receiver as outlined on the trapdoor website)

You might want to try Springfield Research if you’re looking for history on them.

Knowledge I take to my grave is wasted.

I prefer to use cartridges born before I was.

Success doesn't make me happy, being happy is what allows me to be successful.
