Cimarron revolver chamber throats, cal. 38-40

Seeing some of these guns available for sale now, new.

Does anyone know what they are? If oversize, of course all is lost. Asked Cimarron about this long ago, did not get an answer I could trust. Actually, as an importer they really don’t know, and apparently did not care to ask Uberti in Italy.

Hoping someone here has experience with these.

This is the information I was looking for. Thank you. They should measure.400/.401.
Therefore, I will not buy one.

Better too big than too small.

Have to disagree with the above. If too small you can ream the throats to proper size, if too big you are SOL.
