Is there an easy way to change over the NEF spring loaded ejector to the one that just pushes the case out a bit?

There is a nub on the ejector that when removed makes it an extractor. I don’t have a link but it’s as simple as disassemble and file the correct nub down. I learned it from a google search when I had one.
I grew up hunting with an H&R .410 that would easily put a 3" empty over my shoulder. It is pretty simple to just move your thumb from the latch to over the hammer to stop an empty case halfway in the chamber ass you open the gun.
That move is so ingrained, I still do it with any break open gun ejector or not.
