Saeco 354 2 cavity?

Does anyone have experience with this mould SAECO 354?
I Have a number of 357 revolvers that I load for.

Sorry new here so have lots of questions.
Just picked up 60+ moulds and trying to find the one's to keep for myself
That keep pile is getting larger by the day.

I shoot the 353 which is the plain base version of the same boolit. Nose to crimp is a little long for use in the Marlin 1894C, but it fits fine in a S&W 686. Do you have some specific question about it?

I like mine. Easy fix on that marlin to make them feed like goose greased.

Since PC I look for more PB bullet designs in hand guns. I like this one!

I had this mould some years ago. My old notes indicate good accuracy with #2400 powder. I used an alloy of around 16 BHN and bullets weighed around 170 grains. Nothing wrong with this bullet, but I prefer a slightly lighter weight, around 158 grains.

So normally shoot 148gn WC or 158gn SWC. I shoot a S & W 686 with a 4" barrel and a Dan Wesson with a 10 inch barrel.
I have not cast uding GC bullets and wonder at what velocity you need them?

The powders i have are Hp 38, H110, HS-6, HS-7, clays, Universal, Unique and IMR4198(speer manual from 1987 recommends)

Those boolits are made for maximum .357 magnum loads… hunting or silhouette shooting. They would shine over the H110.

My opinion, if you are happy shooting wadcutters, then put those blocks in the sell pile.

I am moving towards that answer. heavy for a 357. i also shoot the 44 mag so if i need more power i will pick that one.

I also have the 354 in a 4 cavity ! shoots well from several hand guns and rifles, for light loads under 900 fps. i do not use gas checks and still get good accuracy .

Thanks for the info. I hesitate to GC because it adds another expense.
