Hello,
Do any of you guys own one of these rifles? They look like Rossi 92's. I was hoping to get some firsthand reviews.
Thanks very much.

Welcome to the Castboolits Forum, papaglenn.

Another Welcome !
No I have no knowledge of the rifle. Rossi has built carbines for other places such as Santa Fe over the years.

Thank you guys.
I went ahead and put a deposit on one. I looked at one last week in person and I liked it. It sold yesterday so this morning I asked them to order me another.
I will give my impressions and range results.
Have a great day.

I'm more of a traditionalist when it comes to lever action rifles.
So no I haven't tried one, and will never own one.

Ugly truck gun, so it wouldn't hurt AS bad if someone "borrowed" it!
For the same money, a Henry Big Boy in steel or brass in 38/357 could be had. Id think that would be where my money goes. I get the peep sights, the rail, etc, but not for 700-850 bucks. If it were 450-500, yeah, Id have a Citadel.
I like it but I’d have to put a traditional style fore-end on it. Also a small/standard size lever on it. The 16” barrel and being threaded opens up a lot of options. Suppressed with a scout scope and it’d be pretty handy hog/pest gun. If I could find a used one local I’d seriously consider one.
What cal. did you order?

To replace the stocks, sights, and barrel, and modify the lever, it might be a good looking gun. Otherwise it would have to be given to me before I would have one. The other major (very major) drawback is that it is not available in 32/20.
Spell check doesn't work in Chrome, so if something is spelled wrong, it's just a typo that I missed.
First one I saw was Wednesday afternoon. A new arrival at LGS. They were putting a price tag on it. I like lever guns for what they are, traditional rifles. Gussying it up with m-locks and a floating hand guard doesn’t improve the appearance, nor does the OS lever loop. Sort of like putting a laser and red dot on a cap and ball revolver.
No offense to the OP, but I think I just threw up a little in my mouth.
I have spoken with Legacy Sports a few times in the past 5-6 years (at the request of firearm owners), always about the product's warranty and the company's adherence to it. The most recent call was about their product which looks like the .30 Carbine but is recoil (not gas) driven and is 9mm. The owner was typical male - did not record his warranty with the company, then after that did not place his sales receipt where he could find it. No proof, no service. I can't recall the details of the other 2 warranty calls but at the of the day both of those calls were also declined. All I can suggest is that you register your new purchase with Legacy and keep your purchase receipt where you can find it. Beyond that, hope your rifle out-lasts the warranty.
