WTT - Want To Trade: 1 cavity RCBS 45-405-FN mold with about 200 bullets thru it, PLUS about 800 Hornady crimp on gas checks for this mould - for an RCBS 40-180-FN - open to either version (Cowboy 2 lube grooves or non-Cowboy 1 lube groove).
My mould is nominal 405 grain bullet for 45-70 and .458 Win Mag applications. Shoots very well. Can be loaded down for black powder simulated loads or driven hot for poor man’s elephant rifle. This mould is a pleasure to use.
As point of reference RCBS single cavity moulds are sold for the same price as 2 cavity moulds.
