    Value of a 450 sizer?

Looks in good shape from pics plus 3 dies and 6 containers of lube. What's a reasonable offer?

The dies are $45.00 the lube depends on what it is. The 450 would be worth $75.00 to me if in excellent condition.

Canoe anchor. Search out an old Lyman 45 instead.

I do love my row of 45's on my bench!

(never had a 450 tho, so I can't knock em any.)
    KE4GWE - - - - - - Colt 1860, it just feels right.

Well that's a little harsh on the 450, it's more rugged than the 45 but I find the 45's easier to use, easier to slide the gascheck into place, easier to change top punches, come to think of it, changing the dies is easier as well. I have 3 out of 5 45's hooked up and one 450. One of these days Lyman is going to make a Lubrisizer that's less vulnerable than the 45 but with all the convenience. Follow the 450's on Fleabay and see what they go for, in reality.

I just did a price check on Fleabay and it was VERY revealing.

I got a NIB 4500 18 months ago, including heat element, for $133. I think the 4500 is a better unit than my 450, but still use both.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

If you use Flea Bay as a guide, remember you may be bidding against people in other countries that don't care if they pay $200+ but if you watch and keep your bid at your ## sometimes you get lucky...IMHO
