    Jack,

    What's a 45-38?
    Cogito, ergo armatum sum.

    (I think, therefore I'm armed.)

What are you looking for? A barrel? Cartridge?
I have a barrel, what are you planning on putting it on?

The Clerke .38/45 was a early '60s target cartridge. A .45 ACP case necked down to .357. Any M1911 could be converted by simply replacing the barrel (and the usual replace the recoil spring when setting up a target pistol). Same magazines used.

Edit: I wanted one, but couldn't afford the M1911 at the time and Uncle wouldn't let me modify one of the unit pistols.

Old Style Government Model 1911. I'm interested in your barrel - let my know specifics and price.
    Thanks

Thanks for the correction of the caliber designation. Got it backwards. Yes the 38/45 Bo Clerke

I think I have a die set for it.
never see one, but it sounds like a good idea.
