Johnch just kindled my interest with his post about the 308 @ 600 yards, and I didn't want to interrupt his post.
I've got a Palma rifle that I'd like to try cast with. It's built on an RPA action with a 30", 1/13 twist Krieger barrel. Haven't shot it in 30+ years. Time to blow the cobwebs out of the barrel.
Anybody care to recommend a starting load to try with cast? Boolit, alloy, bhn, powder, etc.?
