My edc is a CW45. If it's new you gotta immediately field strip and clean, then they need as much as 250 rounds on them for the springs to take a set and everything smooth itself together, you will notice the improvement.
Mine didn't especially like Hornady Critical Defense, the truncated HP, seems as if I had a couple of light primer strikes (that failed to fire) from the firing pin pushing the round fully into the chamber where the ojive of the boolit was beginning to interfere with the freebore in the barrel, they are tight in the freebore and not much throat but it has been flawless with Speer Gold Dot JHP, dug one fully mushroomed out of 9" of North Carolina red clay I guess that would pass the muster.. And the barrel has been throated.
Got a .22 .30 .32 .357 .38 .40 .41 .44 .45 .480 or .500 S&W cylinder that needs throats honed? 9mm, 10mm/40S&W, 45 ACP pistol barrel that won't "plunk" your handloads? 480 Ruger or 475 Linebaugh cylinder that needs the "step" reamed to 6° 30min chamfer?
