    Hope this is the right thread - I have a nice k98 that has been re-stocked with a nice cheek-piece stock that I want to replace with an original stock and hand-piece. So I bough a new-manufactured set of woodwork, but need the metal furniture, back-plate etc. Any one have an idea. or have the metal they will part with?

    These parts should be fairly easy to obtain from the usual parts houses like Gun Parts Corp., SARCO, Jack First, Century Arms, etc., as millions of the rifles were produced and are in fact still being imported. I just received an e-mail ad for them from J&G Sales.

    E-Bay has a lot of people selling small parts too. I get a lot of parts off of there.
