I thought it was something I did ... ignorance of computers knows no bounds .

My son was at work and my wife and daughter went to Flordia ... a notice kept coming up about a Security Program expiring and the choice was renew or uninstall ... I wasn't sure what to do ...
    and I pressed uninstall ... I thought I killed Cast Boolits !!!
Glad to know it weren't me ... and the Security Program notice is back ...so no harm , no foul !
I need to my boy to look at this infernal computer security stuff ... I'm clueless .

Just shows how one should not get too dependent on a single thing! Sorta like smoking or booze. I can successfully say, I found lots of other projects to keep my mind occupied while the tech guys fixed the problem. With the huge number of members, the tons of posts, and copious amounts of data in that database, I am surprised it has not crashed long before now.

So far, I have not heard of any members jumping off roofs or driving off a mountain road. So, we can survive!

All's well that ends well..............and no one ended up at the bottom of a well!

Today I couldn’t sign in automatically. I had to enter my username and figure out what password I used several years ago. It wasn’t easy.

I thought so too at first.
We have two different electric providers around here, but you can't choose which one you want though.
The one we're on is pretty good.

The one on the other side of fence so speak goes out fairly often.
And that's the service our internet provider uses.
It's common to lose internet, but not power.
