    bob loveless the man the myth, the legend

    ive seen the old magazine stories and other mention of loveless knives over the years but never truly understood the extent of his influence on knife making till seeing a movie about him open youtube yesterday
    if you don't know what I;'m talking about and you have appreciation for good knives look it up, its well worth the while.
    I guess there are more than one movies about the late Robert loveless , all probably worth the time to watch.

    I just found another full length movie about bob loveless. I guess I try to learn all I can from the great masters by watching these kind of things. I cant post a link because the use curse words within the movie. found it on YouTube

    The man had an eye for design and flawless execution. Love the classic drop point skinner design. Always hoped to find a Loveless in the wild and someone that did not know what it was. Probably out there, sitting next the a Scagle at a garage sale.

    Yes, along with Moran, Lyle, etc., Loveless pushed development of alloys that had not been previously used much for custom knives.
