the ironic part of this is that I wound up shooting a deer at 12 yds away with this load.
The bugger ran 100 yds and piled up, NOT a lot of extra shot up meat.
I am about to have a 308 rebored to 358. Is there a good alternative to the 358009 everyone is so fond of?
there is one that is about 220 gr that mimics the rcbs 35-200, should be good.

The Saeco mold is the one I use the most. I have it, a 200gr. RCBS mold and an original 358009 Lyman mold.They all shoot equally well in three 35 caliber rifles I have. If i had to pick one of the three for everything, though, it would be the Saeco. I think mine casts at about 245 grains out of my alloy.
