Its a Model 25 of 1955 6.5" bbl and probably in around 85% or better shape. Little muzzle wear on the blue. TT,TH and Magna stocks
Best thing is, she doesn't even know she bought it for me for Christmas!!!

I had an identical gun in the 90's. It never shot very well with boolits due to .455 ish throats. I later learned that S&W would replace oversized cylinders but it was after it went down the road. I hope yours has good cylinder mouths. They are beautiful revolvers.

Yep, already told her how wonderful she is. Would think that anyhow. She has put up with me for 30+ years!!!
Will check cylinder throats and if very oversize, will contact S&W to see if a new cylinder is an option. If not, I have a cylinder from a 625 that I might be able to have fitted.
Know any gunsmiths that can do that??

i at least have a mold for it in the shop before, I buy. Honey I already have a mold for it!
