    WTB .431 dia. 220 gr.

Does anyone on this forum cast bullets to sell?
I need some 220 gr. .431 diameter bullets for my .44 Special Ruger flat top. I would prefer a SWC, but a RNFP would also do. If anyone does this and you don't have exactly what I would like, please tell me what you have.

I have 127 225gr GC style SWC. Home cast. Lyman mold. BHN 15, sized .430. 225gr + or - a grain or so. Shoot great in my 44's. I have gone to heavier bullets so these just set. If interested PM me.Attachment 288270

I have a bunch that are similar to what Dom has. But mine are 219 gr. SWC. The diameter is .430 and lube is soft.

The thing is that the throats in the cylinder are .431. so I will need them to match that. Otherwise I get too much leading. The weight and the semi cutter would be fine if they were a little larger.

Well, I am afraid that they are too small for my gun. .431 is what the throats in my gun are. I could use then if they were .431 or even .432. but smaller than the throats are doesn't work for me. Thanks for the offer though.

Redhawk....do you have a sizer .431? I don't, but I have a 240gr mold I could cast some for you if you can size them. NOE 240-432 mold. I have 215gr SWC, 260gr SWC as well as the 240gr sized to .430.

I do not have a sizer, so no way to size the bullets. Thanks anyway...

Beartooth has a good selection, sized to what you want.

Depending upon how hard the alloy is can't the .430's be slammed from behind hard enough to make them expand to the throats?

I have a huge pile of lee 310's that have been powder coated and hornady GC'd. They were originally sized at .430 a few years ago but have swelled. I'm sure they are .431 by now.
