Got to see her today. They moved her out of neuro-icu, and into a regular room at 4am. At 7:30ish pm they moved her out of the regular room and to the cancer ward because they need real-time monitoring on the cancer drugs they are going to start in the morning to make sure it doesn't stop her heart, kill her kidneys, destroy what bone marrow she has left, etc. She can move her upper arms enough to feed herself as of today (shaky but able to do it), but she can't stand or sit up yet. The new oncologist said her blood-work was horrible, and much better than she could have hoped for considering how Heather was when she came into the hospital. Yeah, you read it right. They have stabilized so much, but there is still so far to go. Each day she seems to get a little stronger. It's a miracle, and a blessing. We still need whatever prayers, positive vibes, thoughts, and/or smoke you can send up.
God Bless.
