Question Need instructions for 12 gauge Lee Loader

Lee Precision don't make these anymore. I can't get instructions. I did some searching on Google.com and Yahoo.com, but I am only finding instructions for the pistol and rifle Lee Loaders.

Anyone here got the instructions for the 12 gauge 2 3/4" shell Lee Loaders? If so, could you scan them and email or post here?

    Load All

Is that the big loader with the plastic hoppers built in?

I have a NIB real old lee shotshell loader, which uses scoops. The shot scoop is an adjustable metal one. Cool little machine, haven't used it yet. Couldn't pass it up when I saw it, even thought I have a full size Texan press.

    Nope,

The kit I have comes in a small red box with scoops. It could fit in a large pocket.

I would also be interested in a copy of the instructions for the old 12 gauge Lee Loader.

I actually have a hard copy, but it is very fragile, held together by deteriorating scotch tape and is about to fall apart at the least provocation.

    Thanks.

Wow.. I think this is the oldest thread I've ever seen resurrected.

Here's scans of the instructions and charge table from my 12 Gauge 2-3/4" Deluxe Kit, The instructions are the same though. Mines a Black cardboard box version with the red dippers and the date on the charge table is 1969.

No wonder I couldn't remember my previous post, I made it in 2006!

Anybody got a charge table for a 20 guage?

I found my 20 guage deluxe kit, red plastic powder scoop and black for shot; but the charge table is MIA, along with my .410 loader (which can stay missing as far as I'm concerned).

    Robert,

I've got a LEE Whack-A-Mole Loader for 20 Gauge sitting at the house back in NY. I'm visiting family in Indiana for this week. But when I get back I'll scan in the charge sheet and email it too you.

    Thanks Bruce,

I am reasonably certain that I used to use Herco, but I don't want to take a chance. I don't really know why I want to everything ready for 20 guage; I think I have fired more .45 ACP shotloads than real shotgun shells in the last three or four years.

All the old Lee wackem and stackem shotshell loaders I still have are with the adjustable aluminum shot cups, which work great for my ML smoothbores.

My arms are getting tired holding my laptop upside down trying to read it.

Why has'nt anyone come up with a cheap metal ring to size the brass for these loaders? (Wonder if a socket in the garage is the right size.)

Mk42gunner, if you run across the .410 loader and would sell it my step-son would be tickled.

    Roll Crimps

    Lee Whack-A-Mole, LOL!

I do like those aluminum adjustable shot scoops, keep on on my bench all the time.

The slickest use I've found for my Wack-A-Mole however is as a roll crimper. For my 1894 vintage 12 gauge damascas L.C. Smith I load Federal Paper Champions. I use Polywad Spred-R inserts in some loads, trimming the hull about 1/8” and using the Lee crimp body and plunger produces perfect roll crimps.
I have an old Versa- Mec dedicated to Federal Paper loads… plus they smell so neat when fired!

I bought the sizing ring that comes with the new LEE Load All. Order as a part from FSReloading. They work slick. I used a piece of aluminum pipe to hold it in position, lets me WHACK the case solidly. Punch it out with the priming punch. Holding it in your hand, not an option.
