    Name this mold?

I won a mold on Ebay .575 it has no mfg name it is aluminum hollow base and the only markings ar A575 and A0239. Lyman handles will not fit ether single or double and I didn't have a lee set. I took pictures so look and see if you know.

Looks like it could be an RCBS mini mould. Without seeing the cavity it is hard to say for certain.

It looks like a Lyman mould for a 58 caliber that has been altered. The mould also has a thin sprue plate.

I think that's one of the off-brand maker molds from the 70's or into the 80's. I'm betting the Lee handles should fit.

I am thinking a modified Herters mold form the 60's. Had a couple and Lyman handles would not fit. The Lee's should.

+1^ I bought a 30-170 that had come from Herter's cerca 1969 that was supposed to use Lyman handles--it didn't. IIRC I used an old set of Lachmiller handles, but it has been 35 years or more, and I just don't remember.

I think No Zombies is on the right track: Challenger or Shiloh is my guess.

Shiloh Products Inc., of Farmingdale NY. They normally came with aluminum handles.
