Picked up this handgun, and no experience with 380,didnt know what to expect. Worst group @25yards so far,is 4 inches,,but it shoots around 2 inches with lee105swc/hp38..i am some impressed with how tight this gun shoots!!

Don't underestimate a well made small pistol.

Paper targets aren't your friends. They won't lie for you and they don't care if your feelings get hurt.
Bursa and well made just dont go together. DO NOT REMOVE THE GRIP PANELS.several essential parts ar held in place by them, and it takes 4 hands to get them back together if you dont lose some.

I looked down threw it with borescope,,it has a super nice finished bore.fixed barrell, and i said to my self,,this thing has got to shoot.. it does!!
Had mine for something over 10 years, it's on my belt now. It's always shot pretty good. I think they're a good handgun for the money. Only problem has been the way the rear sight blade is installed. Evidently it will catch on something, compress the spring and send blade and spring off into Never-Never land. I've had to replace two. No biggy, just really inconvenient. Must be fairly common because the last time I needed one they were out of stock for a year.

I am actually entertaining the thought of owning a 380. How does the trigger feel?
The sooner I fall behind...the more time I have to catch up with
My Bersa 380 is outstanding. A solid accurate and dependable performer for several years now. I got a Houge wrap around grip for mine and consider it a truely worthwhile upgrade. The grips come off mine everytime its fired and cleaned....have never considered the posibility of losing parts.
COME AND TAKE IT
Let’s Go Kammie the Kommie!!!!
I've owned four Bersa hand guns.
First was a .22 back in the early '80s. Then I bought two new Series 95 .380s in the '90s, they ended up with my sons when they got old enough. A few years ago I purchased a used Series 95.
All the ones I've owned are a copy of Walther PPK, they are built well and function fine. I do miss the .22 though, should never have gotten rid of it along with the H&K Mod 4 kit gun.
Got 10 more test loads made up,,,
Shes a keeper, for sure.hard to beleave how much snap this thing has,,
I have the 22 . the barrel is counerbored about half way for some reason, doubt it came that way but funny thing, it shoots well! I couldn't get the barrel out as l was going to reline it . So leaving it as is. I was also looking into converting to 380 but I don't think it possible. Thoughts?

me too wish I had it back.
I have shot two different Bersa .380s and was very impressed both times. Since I didn’t own them I haven’t had the opportunity to pull one apart but I can’t imagine them being much different than any other Walther style pistol. When folks ask for my opinion on a .380 the Bersa is my first recommendation. Some may turn their nose up to them but I feel they are an excellent value. If I caught a good price on a used one I wouldn’t hesitate to plunk down some cash.
Bought a used Bersa Thunder 22 blued with pretty wood grips and something broke in the frame (?) Took it back and the sales person called Bersa and they were to return his call later with the information. Went home and the guy called and said they would not fix the old one and did not have a new one in stock, but, would a Stainless Steel model be OK. Yeah. Got the pistol and phooey it leaded up with little strings of lead hanging out of the barrel.. Salesman called Bersa again and they suggested to shoot a hundred rounds through it and if the problem persisted to call them again. After a few more shots after getting the lead out, it never happened again. I think it is near 42 years old and is still very reliable. Next was a Bersa Thunder 45 acp Compact Pro. It is heavy enough to regain the sight picture quickly. Been asking gun store manager when could I get a .380 double stack Bersa for a year now and no luck as yet./
The wife has a Bersa 380 and really likes it.
The disconnector is held in place by the grip panel, but the grips are wood and fit tight.
The disconnector is my only complaint with it.
Oopse, I mixed it up with Jiminez brand, and like. Several manufacturers were making that style of pistol after the patents ran out.

If Glock hadn't created the 42 I would be carrying a Bersa right now. Fine guns for sure!

Groo here
Had a Compact but the sharp edge on the grip got me / magnum thumb..
Now have a S&W walther [used] that someone rounded the grip..
Shoots fine...
The PPK/S style with it"s fixed barrel just flat shoots!!!!!
Also, as the barrel sticks out past the slide,, you can poke with it and not worry about jamming,,
The 380 is not far off a 9mm in these short barrels and with the round nose fmj goes deep and hits harder than it should.
If not for current problems I would shoot mine more..
The best load I think , is the fmj "flat" nose [like the browning] ..
I don't like hps in this small /light/supsonic round and only use them when I am sure the load and gun[barrel length]
can deliver 1000 fps + impact speeds at SD ranges
